“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Are you seeking God with all your heart? Or are you a child of God playing Hide and Seek. God’s plans for us are meant for good. Join us for the 21st annual women’s retreat, sponsored by the United Women in Faith (UMW), for a weekend of fellowship, fun and spiritual growth as we explore and gain a better understanding of God’s good plans.

Featuring a video based study of her book Meant For Good, bible teacher and author Megan Fate Marshman will take you through an engaging exploration of the significance of Jeremiah 29:11-14. You will discover how to stop discounting yourself from a hopeful future, start living in active dependence on God, and find your way to the good plan He has for you. In this beloved passage of Scripture, Megan reveals how to trust God in your daily life and, more importantly, how to trust God’s definition of good above your own. The retreat is open to all women of Berkley and Birmingham First, their family and friends.

The retreat is being held at the beautiful Lake Huron Retreat Center. Each room has its own thermostat and a private bathroom. There are areas for private reflection and outdoor space, weather permitting.

Arrival at the retreat is Friday, March 15 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 pm.
The retreat will close on Sunday, March 17 with worship and communion from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
