JOIN THE TOURNAMENT AND LESSONS/DRILLS DAY
The Hunger Ministry of Birmingham & Berkley First works with many food pantries in the Southeast Michigan area. Sign up for our Pickleball with a Purpose Tournament or lessons/drills for a day of fun and community to help build-up the funds and cans that will be donated.
May 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tournament Round Robin all skill levels are welcomed.
Beginner 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Intermediate/Advanced 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Lessons/drills for all levels and ages (Parents or guardians are required to stay for children who participate).
Beginner Lessons 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
How to Play the short game (My dink don’t stink) 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Strategy Bootcamp 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Join us in putting your passion for pickleball to work on behalf of those that need help with their food security through a pickleball competition! Help us raise funds and food while watching players hold a fun, competitive play pickleball tournament.
Entry Fee:
Register to participate in the tournament for $80 per team with four game guarantee. Lessons are $20 per session. To register click the buttons below.
Don’t want to play but would like to watch, donate or bring cans to have the best seats to watch the tournament.
All funds raised go to the Birmingham and Berkley First Hunger Ministry. Teams are encouraged to donate and raise additional funds for the Hunger Ministry.
In addition to the tournament, we will have representatives from Foundation Manual Physical Therapy and Performance PLLC to present injury prevention and stretches to help with your game and demonstration racquets and equipment to try out. Demonstration paddles from Tennis and Golf will be available along with a special item that will be auctioned off.
Awards will be given for each session:
First place will receive $50 Gift Certificate per player to Kroger’s, a FUMC Pickleball t-shirt, medal, certificate for free drop-in play at the CLC for themself and a friend.
Second place will receive a $50 gift certificate for the team from Kroger’, s an FUMC Pickleball t shirt, certificate for free drop-in play at the CLC for the team.
