Phased Reopening

The State of Michigan is taking a phased approach (called the MI Safe Start Plan) to reopening as we recover from the COVID-19 crisis. Our Birmingham and Berkley First COVID-19 Response Team has developed a detailed chart to show how we will engage in ministry together in the various phases of the MI Safe Start Plan. 
 
Meeting Guidelines
  • Group leader responsible for documenting that all participants complete health screenings and temperature checks
    • Leader Meets Participants at Building Entrance
    • Laminated Copies of Screening Questions at Entrances
    • Touchless Thermometer at Each Entrance
  • Attendance, including contact information for all attendees, must be submitted for each meeting within 24 hours of the meeting taking place.
  • Properly worn face coverings are always required
  • Physical distancing must be maintained
  • No more than 10 persons per group or gathering
  • Use of assigned rooms only; limited (emergency) restroom availability
  • Furniture set for physical distancing may not be moved
  • No food or beverage service; participants may bring water bottles
  • Maximum meeting time of 45 minutes
  • Minimum of one hour between groups to allow for sanitizing

    • Wipe off the entrance and exit route
