Easter and Holy Week

Easter Will Still Happen

April 5

Palm Sunday

Sanctuary and Christian Life Center Worship via Livestream at 9:30 a.m

We might not be together in one room, but that’s no reason not to join the Palm Sunday parade. Join our Sanctuary Worship livestream at 9:30 a.m. Grab a branch from a tree or a scarf from your closet and wave it in the air with shouts of “Hosanna!” Who knows? There may even be a children’s “parade”! CLC Worship also begins at 9:30 a.m. and Berkley Worship begins at 10:00.
April 9

Maundy Thursday

7:00 p.m. — Livestream

Stream our Maundy Thursday service on April 9 at 7:00 p.m. to join in remembering Jesus’ great gift in the Last Supper and his final commandment to us. Our clergy and musicians will come to you from their own tables, and we encourage you to join at your table, with bread and something to drink, as we continue to “turn church inside-out,” remembering that God’s table is every table.

Good Friday

Good Friday Worship Service
7:00 p.m. — Livestream

Join us online on April 10 at 7:00 p.m. for a service of word and music as Detroit gospel legend Alvin Waddles joins Pastor Elbert for a powerful and uplifting evening remembering God’s gift to all in the life and teachings of Jesus.

Easter Sunday Worship

Christ the Lord is risen today! Alleluia!

Berkley First
10:00 a.m. — Berkley First Facebook Live

We’re going back to our roots! The first Easter was celebrated by a small, astounded group of women who approached an empty tomb. This year we might not “go” to church, or out to brunch…but the joy of Easter will not be contained. Stream our Easter celebrations straight to your home at 9:30 a.m. (Sanctuary and CLC) and 10:00 a.m. (Berkley).
