Moms Group (Formerly GRIP Groups)

Wednesdays beginning September 8 from 9:30-11:30 AM
In person at the Birmingham Campus 
 
Formerly known as GRIP, this is a group for moms of all ages and stages to connect, build relationships with other moms, and grow in their faith journey through book studies. Moms will meet at 9:30 AM for coffee and fellowship, participate in a lesson, then break into smaller groups around circle tables for discussion and prayer. Books cost $20 for the year. Childcare is $25 for the year (register for the class and childcare at https://members.fumcbirmingham.org/default.aspx?page=3347).

All women are invited to attend this woman’s book study group. We begin the year with Rachel Held Evans’ book, Inspired.  This is a great opportunity to join together in prayer, fellowship, conversation, and growth as disciples of Jesus Christ. 


W.O.W. – Women of the Word Explorer’s Bible Study

We will study the Gospel of John by EBS author Marni McKenzie. To participate in this study, women must register online at ebshome.org. Cost of materials for full year, 2 workbooks, is $60.


Women’s Journey Group

This group is open to women of all ages. We will read/study Jennie Allen’s book, “Get Out of Your Head,” to inspire and equip us to transform our emotions, our outlook, and even our circumstances by taking control of our thoughts. The participant’s Study Guide is $10.

Our group embraces differences and allows people to share their beliefs in a non-threatening environment. We use Adult Bible Studies student book which includes scripture passages with 4-5 pages to read prior to class.
