2023/24 WOW EBS Study will be EXODUS

Exodus is the History of God and His people. The New Testament is contained in the Old Testament. And the Old Testament is explained in the New Testament. We could say that the Old Testament is the dictionary for the New Testament.

The Greek Old Testament gave the name for this book – Exodus – literally meaning “a road out of.” As we study, we will journey on a road that leads us to a better understanding of the Word of God, the ways of God, and to a life that follows the will of God as we lean into the truths in every verse and chapter. The book of Exodus foreshadows the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. The writings of Moses teach about Christ. This Study will reveal to us God’s pattern of Salvation, His work of providential Grace, the pattern of the people of God in relation to God, the pattern of those who reject God, and so much more.
