Carrie will perform a concert in the Sanctuary of Birmingham First on Saturday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Carrie is a songwriter, recording artist, performer, educator, and activist, celebrated for her deep spiritual themes and captivating performances. The Boston Globe calls her a “prairie mystic,” and Rolling Stone Magazine notes that she “asks all the right questions.” With 20 nationally released albums, three books of poetry and essays, and accolades including a Grammy and an Emmy, Carrie’s work brings an extraordinary blend of artistry and progressive spiritual themes. Known for her resonant voice—”as rich as Godiva chocolate,” according to The Austin American-Statesman—Carrie’s music and poetry will create a space for us to gather as a community in reflection and joy.
The Endowment Board is thrilled to bring this concert to Birmingham First.
This concert is free. We ask that you RSVP yourself and anyone who might be joining you so that we can better anticipate attendance. Thank you!
