24 Hours of Prayer

November 6 @ 8:00 am - November 7 @ 8:00 am

Click here to help us pray over a 24 hour time – Sign up for a time slot.

Christians around the world have set aside November 3-10 to collectively pray for our brothers and sisters who suffer on account of their faith in Jesus Christ.

Globally, there are more than 215 million Christians who are being persecuted for their faith. This year’s day of prayer focuses on the countries of North Korea (ranked number 1 as the most dangerous place to live as a Christian) and China.

“24 Hours of Prayer for the Persecuted Church”

Corporate prayer will begin at 8:00 am on November 6 in Runkel Chapel and conclude at 8:00 am on November 7 at the Berkley First campus.

Four prayer stations will also be set up in Wright Parlor for individual prayer.

There are three ways you can participate.

  1. Lead or join in on a 2-hour time slot on Nov. 6 between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm at the Birmingham campus.
  2. Pray for an hour at home between 9:00 pm on Nov. 6 and 6:30 am on Nov. 7.
  3. Come to the Evening Prayer Vigil, 8:00 pm-9:00 pm on Nov. 6, or the Closing Prayer Vigil, 6:30 am-8:00 am on Nov. 7. Both of these will be held at the Berkley campus.
You can sign up here to designate a time slot to pray.

“That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Cor. 12:10 NIV).
