Endowment Dinner – Writing Your Own Ending

We are excited to share news regarding this year’s annual Endowment Dinner. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Carl Price, offering a message on “Writing Your Own Ending.” Young adults Tyler Bouque and Eric Smith are sharing their musical talents. Paul Keller, Jane Pettibone, and Pastors Elbert Dulworth and Shawn Lewis-Lakin are also a part of the program!

As persons created in the image of a generous God, generosity is at the core of who we are. Providing education to encourage and inform the congregation and community of the opportunities and impact of planned giving is one of the missions of our Endowment Board.

Following the best public health advice available, we have made the difficult decision not to plan a large on-site gathering this year and instead will provide a virtual Endowment Dinner program, with the option of still having dinner on us! The Endowment Dinner program will premier virtually on Friday evening, April 30, at 6:00 p.m. and may be viewed then or any time following. Those registered for the event will receive a link that will take you directly to the online program.

Our hope is that you will gather at home and enjoy the program around a meal. CDC guidance suggests that small gatherings of persons who are fully vaccinated are relatively low risk. We encourage you to consider hosting such a gathering. As our tradition has been to provide a meal as part of this event, we are working with Honey Tree Grill to make meal gift certificates available for use on April 30, or anytime following, so that you can have a meal on us while enjoying the program.

We encourage you to click here to register for our Endowment Dinner online or register by calling 248-646-1200, Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00-12:00 and 12:30-2:30. We look forward to your being a part of our 5th Annual Endowment Dinner!
