Better Balance Physical Therapy
This course is designed and run by doctors of physical therapy from Dawn Thomas Physical Therapy and aimed at seniors who want to learn actionable steps to understand and improve their balance status.
What you will get
Six progressive classes developed and led by a physical therapist with expertise in balance training.
Folder with handouts for all six weeks of exercises and training drills for carry over at home.
Functional Assessments done for you to track your progress with balance training.
Class format is walking warm up, educational piece about the week’s topic, exercise and drills new each week, cool down and or stretching to conclude class.
Topics covered include; How posture can affect balance, How strength can affect balance, how ankle mobility and strength can affect balance, What are balance strategies? And more…
You will be empowered to know your balance status, your fall risk and know how to improve.
