Bible lesson, game, craft, playtime, and mission work.

Safety procedures & Inclement Weather Policy
  • Registration is limited to provide for social distancing.  
  • Using a digital thermometer, each participant’s temperature will be taken upon arrival.
  • All children and volunteers must wear a mask at all times, indoors and outdoors, except while seated during snack time.  
  • The toddler childcare VBS program follows regulations set forth by the licensing body of the State of Michigan for childcare. It is staffed by paid employees. Toddlers are not required to wear a mask.  
  • Preschool VBS will be hosted indoors, within the First Kid’s preschool classrooms, following state licensing regulations.  Three-year-olds are not required to wear masks indoors.  Four & five-year-olds are required to masks indoors.  These children do not have to wear masks outdoors on the playground. 
  • Elementary VBS will be hosted outdoors unless there is inclement weather. Indoor programming will be held in designated spaces with appropriate HVAC systems, one-way travel through church buildings, and time for air droplet saturation levels to rest between rotating groups.  Children in kindergarten through 5th grade must wear a mask at all times indoors and outdoors.

Pre-registration 24 hours in advance is appreciated, to help plan for adequate supplies and staffing.

Out of an abundance of caution, we will be canceling 3D Kids this Tuesday, April 20.   
Our last session for the season will be held Tuesday, May 4 from 430 – 5:45 p.m.

Returning Families

If any contact information or medical information has changed for your family, please complete and return an updated FAMILY REGISTRATION FORM 2020-2021. Soon, an online link will be made available for families to update their family profile electronically. We will send you a link in the future.

New Families

Please print, complete and return the FAMILY REGISTRATION FORM 2020-2021 to Children & Families Ministry.

Other Information
  • Developmentally appropriate
  • Planned activities based on theme & weather
  • Dress for the weather to have outdoor time, if the weather is permitting.
  • No food will be served.
  • Bring a labeled water bottle.
  • All participants & parents must wear a mask. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
  • Each child must have a medical release form on file since June 2020.
Arrival & Departure at Plaza and CLC doors
  • Drop-off is between 4:00 p.m.
  • The child’s temperature will be taken prior to a parent leaving.
  • Only adult staff and designated volunteers will be allowed in the building to reduce possible exposure.
  • Pick-up at 5:15 p.m.
  • Please park and walk to the plaza or CLC doors to pick-up your child from a staff person.
  • Children are released in an organized and safe process.
