Put
the first door on a "dolly" and ...

...
"wheel" it into the church.

A
section of the track is removable to allow space
for entering each door onto the supporting overhead track.

The
first one in place and the second being put in place.

One
of the two roller brackets supporting each panel.
It appears very sturdy and rolls easily.

Meanwhile,
work continues on the installation of the new air handling
systems in the basement mechanical equipment room. The myriad
of black pipe and copper tubing is truly amazing.

The
east side narthex wall is now in place.

Working
on the west side wall.
Each panel is independent, i.e., not linked to the adjacent
panels;
each must be handled separately.

Adjusting
the rollers to insure smooth action.

And,
yes, they do "stack" nicely.

West
side narthex wall closed and east side open.

The
glaziers completing their work.

Following
are four pictures of the "rack room" for the electronic
acoustics system. There are more than a "few" wires
involved!.

The
first look at the new stain color for the altar, with an unstained
portion of the altar in front of the newly stained portion.
