During
the ninth week of our sanctuary
renovation project, we did the following:
- Painted
chancel ceiling .
- SPL
(our audio contractor) was on-site to begin electronic acoustics
equipment installation.
- Installed
electrical power leads only for organ chambers lights and
electrical outlets; final positioning of light and outlets
only during organ installation.
- Installed
concrete block support for chancel limestone steps.
- Continuted
other ongoing mechanical and electrical installations and
carpentry.
- Drilled
holes in chancel and sanctuary floor for installation of
"retaining tubes" for holding the removable modesty
panel by means of pins extending from the bottom of the
panels.
