During the eighth week of our sanctuary renovation project, we did the following:

  • Completed patching of chancel ceiling.
  • Painted sanctuary ceiling.
  • Replaced existing roof top "chiller" with new larger capacity one.
  • Relocated control panel, compressor, and dryer for the existing radiant heating system, which will be retained; they are being relocated to make room for the new air handling equipment.
  • Installed new digital pneumatic controls for new air handling systems.
  • Cut two doorways from mechanical equipment room into Rummage Sale storage room to make it possible to "slide out" the heating and cooling coils from the air handling equipment cabinets for servicing.
  • Installed hot water supply and return for the three new air handling units and the existing radiant heating system.
  • Did ongoing duct work installation.
  • Constructed new wall and door for electronic acoustics "rack room" in the Media Center.
  • Installed new electric panel for the chancel organ blower motors and new 3-phase electrical supply for the antiphonal organ blower.
  • 2/15/05 On-site meeting between acoustical consultant (JHA), audio contractor (SPL), and interested local parties.
