Sanctuary Renovations
and Organ Replacement: Photos February 14-18, 2005
During
the eighth week of our sanctuary
renovation project, we did the following:
Completed
patching of chancel ceiling.
Painted
sanctuary ceiling.
Replaced
existing roof top "chiller" with new larger capacity
one.
Relocated
control panel, compressor, and dryer for the existing radiant
heating system, which will be retained; they are being relocated
to make room for the new air handling equipment.
Installed
new digital pneumatic controls for new air handling systems.
Cut
two doorways from mechanical equipment room into Rummage
Sale storage room to make it possible to "slide out"
the heating and cooling coils from the air handling equipment
cabinets for servicing.
Installed
hot water supply and return for the three new air handling
units and the existing radiant heating system.
Did
ongoing duct work installation.
Constructed
new wall and door for electronic acoustics "rack room"
in the Media Center.
Installed
new electric panel for the chancel organ blower motors and
new 3-phase electrical supply for the antiphonal organ blower.
