Labyrinth

Walk the Labyrinth in a quiet, meditative atmosphere.  The Labyrinth provides the opportunity to reflect, pray and walk with God.  Watch Steeple Notes for dates and times.

The labyrinth has been used for centuries as a pilgrimage, both as a prayer path and a journey inward to spiritual improvement. Probably the most famous labyrinth is the one inlaid into the stone floor of Chartres Cathedral in France in 1201.

A labyrinth is not a maze. In a labyrinth, you are never lost. You are always on the path leading into or back out of the center. The physical journey of walking a labyrinth gives way to a spiritual discovery along the journey of faith, quieting the mind, encouraging insight and meditation.

The portable CLC prayer labyrinth along with several other labyrinths
we had the opportunity to walk at a workshop introducing the labyrinth
