Indoor Walking Track
Classes and Activities

We offer a variety of Health and Wellness classes and activities in the Christian Life Center (CLC.) You don’t have to be a church member to attend classes or use the building, so please invite your friends and neighbors. CLC

Safety is important to us. On your first visit, you will be asked to complete a registration form with emergency contact information.

Christian Life Center Hours 

  • Monday: 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:00 a.m. to Noon Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to Noon

* Please note that there may be other dates that the Christian Life Center is closed due to private church events. We try to give as much advance notice as possible on those occasions.

Walking Track

Our indoor walking track is for adults of all ages and physical abilities. Open whenever the Christian Life Center (CLC) is open to the public, the walking track offers a safe, climate-controlled place to walk all year round. It is located on the second floor and is accessible by stairs or elevator. Come alone or bring a friend to walk and talk.

Classes and Drop-in Activities

We offer a variety of fitness classes taught by professional, certified fitness instructors. Most classes are drop-in, meaning you can come when you are able and pay only for those classes you attend.

Strength Training
8:00-900 AM
$17/session or $120/10 sessions
First class is complimentary.

Monday –  Get On The Ball
Work out on the Big Fitness Ball and strengthen your balance and core, utilizing your body weight along with free weights. Stretching and fun is involved! (Provide your own ball-first class is complimentary to try and we have a ball for you to use!)

Wednesday – Bar Pilates Strength Training
Work out using resist-a-bands, ballet bar, balance and core conditioning.

Friday – Strength Training along with Core Conditioning
Work out with weights for stronger muscle, better posture and balance with a stronger core.

Cards and  Board Game Groups in the Afternoon

Adult Karate

Come and learn the fine art of Karate. This class is great for learning discipline, perfecting character and developing respect and honor for all people.

Improve posture, increase flexibility, body awareness and balance. Flow through a series of dynamic movements that restore balance to core muscles of the lower back and abdominals.

Stretch 4 Life
Mon – 11:30 AM -12:30 PM
$10/session on a drop-in basis
This class is an hour of relaxing and stretching. Awareness of a healthy spine and core strength is important and you will enjoy some standing, sitting and floor movement with emphasis on relaxation and breath. As all bodies move differently, many modifications can be made and help is provided for you to find the most effective and safest positions for you. Please bring a floor mat.

Stretch 4 Life
Tue/Thur   11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
$10/session on a drop-in basis
These classes involve some strengthening exercises to keep your muscles strong and your body conditioned for everyday life challenges.They include some non-impact aerobic movement to keep your cardiovascular system healthy and your heart and lungs functioning well. There will be lots of variety with different equipment such as hand weights, elastic tubing, rubber balls and Pilates rings which are provided. Lower body strengthening incorporating balance exercises to keep you grounded are also included. Please bring a floor mat.

Tai Chi
Thursdays 1:30 – 2:30 pm
$10/session or $32/4 sessions
Tai Chi is a complete art form offering a balance of energizing, focusing movements that are calming and centering. Known benefits of this practice are, but not limited to addressing, arthritis, balance, blood pressure and flexibility issues. Drop-ins are welcome.
