Words of Dedication

Leader: To the end that history may be honored and saints revered,
People: We dedicate these gifts.

Leader: To the end that Methodist memories might be kindled and Methodist loyalties enhanced,
People: We dedicate these gifts.

Leader: To the end that John and Charles Wesley might live in the present as they have served in the past,
People: We dedicate these gifts.

Leader: To the end that their warm-hearted faith might light a flame in our hearts and a fire in our church,
People: We dedicate these gifts.

Leader: To the end that donors will be appreciated as treasures are preserved,
People: We dedicate these gifts.

Leader: And to the end that our faith shall be buttressed by "so great a cloud of witnesses,"
People: We dedicate these gifts.
