Construction of the Christian Life Center
August 14, 2003

Below are photos of the construction of the Christian Life Center.

This photo shows the west entrance to the Christian Life Center (CLC).
All the windows are in except for one on the 2nd floor. Note the white masonry stone work
around the windows as well as the white stone work covering the 2nd peak. The
stone work is carried through to the inside of the building on this peak as well..

This photo show the south end of the CLC.
Note how the white masonry stone work is carried around the end of the building..

Sue Chrostek and Patty Zikakis, the new Co-Directors of the CLC,
welcome you to a tour of the inside of the building.

Although Sue and Patty are leaning on boxes where the reception desk will be,
it won't be long until they will be greeting you as you enter the CLC.

This is a view of the Multi Purpose Room. It will entertain a full court game of basketball
as well as volleyball. Two half court games can be played as well. It will provide
table seating for 450 people as well as 600 people for a staged event. The stage can be
seen in the background.
The ceiling has been painted, dry wall is being completed,
but the overhead lighting has not been installed. The Sport Court flooring as well as
basketball goals will be the last items installed.

This is the stage in the Multi Purpose Room. Sue and Patty are staging the first comedy
performance. The Multi Purpose Room, complete with audio and stage lighting system,
will be ready to showcase any performance that can be imagined.

Sue shoots an imaginary game of pool in the Pit while Patty looks on. The Pit, on the 1st floor,
complete with pool, foosball, and ping pong tables, as well as juke box, TVs with Play Station II
video games, a vending area, and plenty of comfortable seating,
will soon be an inviting spot for our youth.

Patty and Sue stand in what will be the Pleasant Street Cafe. It is a lounge located on the
2nd floor above the main entrance. It will be outfitted with comfortable tables and chairs for
reading, card playing, discussion, or just plain relaxation. It will have a coffee bar as well as
vending service. On Sue's left in the foreground will be the vending area. Patty stands in the
background in another part of the lounge which is framed by big and bright windows.

Patty and Sue soak up a little sun in the 2nd floor outdoor lounge area that overlooks
the playground. It will be complete with tables and chairs and umbrellas to better enjoy
our summer and fall weather while talking with friends or just watching your children play.

Sue and Patty exercise in the South Meeting Room. When complete, a wall of mirrors will be
behind them. This is a large, bright room which can be used for numerous activities including
yoga and aerobics.

Patty and Sue show how large the 2nd floor North Meeting Room is. It is spacious and bright
and will be able to hold 75 people in a classroom setting. There have been provisions made so
that a room divider can be added at a later date to convert the space into 2 separate rooms.

Patty is operating an imaginary computer in the Computer Lounge on the 2nd floor adjacent to the
South Meeting Room. When complete, the room will have 3 computers and 2 printers along with
cabinets and workspace.

Sue and Patty stand in front of the window wall that runs on the 1st and 2nd floors on the
west side of the building overlooking the playground. They are standing on the 2nd floor
walking track that runs completely around the Multi Purpose Room.

Sue and Patty stand in the North Stairwell above the northeast entrance to the CLC where
it joins the existing church.
