Sonshine Choir

The Sonshine Choir is for young singers currently attending Kindergarten and First Grades. Young children respond eagerly to music. It is one of the best ways for teaching spiritual concepts and laying foundations for faith development. Singing in one of our children's choirs is the beginning of serving our Lord. The Sonshine Choir sings in Sunday Worship approximately every 5 weeks and at special seasonal programs. Our purpose is not only to sing for our congregation, but hopefully encourage their appreciation of Christian music.

This choir practices on Thursdays from 4:15pm until 5:00pm Labor Day to Mother's Day, excluding Birmingham Public School holidays.

There are several important areas in which parents can make a substantial impact on the success of Covenant Choir. The are:

Having your singer at practice on time

Making every effort to have your singer be present on "Singing Sundays."

Giving supporting comments to your singer, other singers, and parents.
