Disciple Choir

The Disciple Choir is for young singers in grades 2 & 3.The purpose of this group is to serve and praise God. It is our goal to create an atmosphere that is caring, supportive and educational on both the spiritual and musical levels. A typical rehearsal involves lots of singing, games, snacks, prayers and dancing. While praising God is our goal, we can learn about kindness, teamwork, responsibility, and respect. The Disciple Choir sings in Sunday Worship approximately every 5 weeks and at special seasonal programs.

This choir practices in the youth center on Thursdays from 4:15 until 5:00pm from Labor Day to Mother's Day, excluding Birmingham Public School holidays.

There are several important areas in which parents can make a substantial impact on the success of Covenant Choir. The are:

Having your singer at practice on time

Making every effort to have your singer be present on "Singing Sundays."

Giving supporting comments to your singer, other singers, and parents.
