Cherub Choir
This choir is for our very youngest children 3 and 4 years of age. Music does for the young child what it does for all human beings. It provides a personal, intimate, and beautiful means of expressing thoughts and feelings. Music communicates ideas better than words alone, and to the child, the process is a happy and exciting one. Music develops valuable social skills in the young child - cooperation, self-discipline, responsibility, and relating positively to adults and other children. This is the beginning of what will become many years of service and fellowship with their church peers. Singing is a fun and effective way to teach young children. The rhythmic patterns and repetition help children remember Bible verses, the names of Bible people, and Bible stories. The choir meets for three blocks of time throughout the year: fall, winter, and spring. Each session will meet for several weeks of rehearsals followed by a time of sharing their music with the congregation and families. Generally, rehearsals are from 5:00 to 5:30pm on Thursday afternoons. Announcements are made through Steeple Notes and mailings to notify parents of the schedule.

This choir is competently led by members of the Music Ministry staff.  Please contact the Music Ministry staff or Mary Feldmaier for more information about this choir.
