Drivers Needed….Can you spare a day this summer to drive for a good cause? For several years, our congregation has provided transportation for children attending Camp New Day, a United Methodist-sponsored camp for children with a parent in prison. This summer, we are in need of drivers to or from the camp in Reed City, MI. If you could spare a few hours on August 3 or August 8, please contact Jen Teal.

South Oakland Shelter (SOS), August 24-August 31….We have something for everyone! Late nighters can be a part of a night security team (shifts are from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. and from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.). Early risers whip up some of the finest breakfast in town (from 5:30-7:30 a.m.). For those who yearn for the open road, transportation duty (to Royal Oak) is for you. Morning or early evening shifts available! If a little early evening socializing interests you, why not be a host? Whatever your interest, there is a place for you.
