The following e-mail was received by Jim Miller from Jan Harbacek -
Directer of the Christian Help Center - Horni Pocernice, Prague, Czech Republic
as we were planning the 2003 mission trip.

Dear Jim,

I saw FUMC Birmingham web site - I am very pleased with new information about Christian Life Center. Of course I saw pictures and report from your mission trip in our country this year. George saw picture of his family. He is very pleased.

Jim, we plan to take advantage of your team for project "reconstruction of second floor of building D for mother with children" next year. We will have benefit concert and benefit shop with Christmas gifts for this project on Sunday afternoon on December 8th. We will lease culture hall in Horni Pocernice. Concert will be classical music presented by Church musical ensemble from Pilsen lead by Pastor Ivana Prochazkova (you visited similar concert in Jecna church). Last Friday I and my family visited celebration of official open youth centre in Jecna street. It was good time, good atmosphere, good banquet.

Leader of this Centre is my friend and I am sure that this Centre is in the best hands. Pavel generally feels better, he already work fully.

Many regards to you, Bev and all friends from FUMC Birmingham.

Jan
