Yoga

Traditionally, the word Yoga means "to join together" or "to unite." When done from a Christian perspective, Yoga is the practice of joining together individual consciousness with God as one’s inner source of strength and peace. This is done through the practice of asanas (physical exercise and postures), pranayama (controlled breathing), and spiritual meditation. As the body and mind learn to relax and let go of tension and the patterns that define and limit individuals, sacred space and Sabbath is created, thereby inviting God’s grace to bring individuals greater health and wholeness.

Classes are designed for beginner and "seasoned" students, both men and women. Most classes run year round. Drop-in attendance is encouraged for most classes. Dress comfortably.

Beginning Yoga 4 Life
