The Cane

Join us for a special one-time class teaching the basics of using the cane for fitness. This class for all ages and fitness levels uses a combination of isometric and isotonic techniques to provide and effective and efficient regimen for muscle toning as well as rehabilitation. These techniques can be used while standing, sitting, or even lying down. Also includes an introduction on the use of a cane for self defense. This class is for anyone who wants to take advantage of this tool to improve their overall fitness and to feel safer while walking. Chairs will be available for those who need them. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a cane.
