When Peter offered what we call the “great confession” (“Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God”), Jesus said this was the rock on which he would build his church. This month we are in our annual Stewardship Campaign. The theme couldn’t be more timely: “Let There Be No Doubt”. In the face of great economic uncertainty, let there be no doubt about the strength of our witness, the commitment of the congregation, and the rock-solid faith we have in Jesus Christ. The symbols are rocks and stones, the representation of God’s promises and our foundation.

If you are visiting our website for the first time, don’t be scared off by the word “stewardship” or the idea of a financial campaign. At First Church, this annual campaign is a great, joyous and hopeful time. Every week we will be telling stories of our ministry and looking forward to what God will do in the future.
