Rocky Mountain National Park Hiking Trip 2001

In July, 2001, a hardy band of outdoor lovers joined Carl and Pat Price in Colorado for a week of hiking. Thirty-seven hikers of all ages from our church and several other churches gathered to enjoy fellowship in the outdoors, exploring the trails of Rocky Mountain National Park. Gathering for breakfast in Mary's Lake campground each day, we donned day packs and hiked trails ranging from 3 to 10 miles. We joined together in the evening for dinners cooked by Pat Price, and we celebrated her amazing feat of cooking for a crowd after a day of strenuous hiking.

Only one dinner was marked by a Colorado rainstorm, and we needed to don our raingear to keep dry under a leaky tarp.
