Rocky Mountain Hiking Trip
July 2004

The Colorado Rocky Mountain hiking trip took place during the week of July 11, 2004. Everyone made their own travel and lodging arrangements. But once we were all in Estes Park, we hiked and enjoyed many meals together. The trip was planned by Dave and Sue Chrostek along with Rod Quainton and Nanci Priest.

The “rabbits” Caitlin, Ashley, and Rick hiked 4.7 miles
before stopping to eat lunch at beautiful Black Lake.

The whole 2004 hiking group at beautiful Mills Lake.

Colorado’s state flower, the Columbine, was in bloom
and made the hiking even more beautiful!

Wednesday night the Cummings Family along with Debbie Hoffecker
and sons traded in hiking boots for cowboy boots at the rooftop rodeo

Opportunities for photography were around every corner -
wild life, flowers, and scenery. This is a morning picture of
Nymph Lake with a reflection of Hallett Peak.
